Hedendaags design maar met toch de typische cosy engelse elementen. Het ontbijt was fantastisch . Nooit moeten wachten . Klein buffetje aanwezig , voor de rest wordt alles aan tafel gebracht . Men kan kiezen uit verschillende warme ontbijtgerechten die heerlijk waren . Personeel zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam vooral de mensen van de receptie . Niets is teveel gevraagd .

Voordelen:: Breakfast was good property was clean staff was very polite. The hotel was great at giving guidance on car services and taxis.
Nadelen:: The rooms are not very sound proof we had extremely loud neighbors several nights. More of business hotel. There were not many things to help tourists book restaurants or get around. The staff didn't have guidance on hop on hop off buses or tours. We figured it out on our own but I think in other hotels there is more help for that type of thing.

Nadelen:: The plumbing is so loud in this hotel was kept awake all night by what sounded like a waterfall running down the wall with the odd bang noise coming from the pipes, I would of got more sleep at home with the kids.

However, generally it is convenient and I like the location as this is next to the Hyde Park - a 20 minute walk and you can go to Marble Arch or the legendary Harrods. Nadelen:: The bathroom basin clogged a bit, it took quite a while to drain the water every time after I washed my hands. As a person who pay attention to details I also noted the pencil provided in my room had a broken lead. I had no intention to use the pencil at all but I reckon such issue maybe regarded as a cons for some others.

Voordelen:: The location is nice but a little bit far away from Bayswater Station - in fact you need a 10 minute walk. However, generally it is convenient and I like the location as this is next to the Hyde Park - a 20 minute walk and you can go to Marble Arch or the legendary Harrods. The room is not small and the bathroom is clean.

There is a special person that instructs each guest on which breakfast they are entitled to have and that the hot breakfast is extra. Not very classy... I have a feeling they spend more money doing that and creating a negative vibe, as opposed to letting everyone have some scrambled eggs (how much can they cost?) and a good impression of the hotel.

Nice coffee pod machine in lobby for guests was appreciated. Staff were kind and helpful- yes, if staying in London, I would book again. Easy access to Paddington station- it's a moderate 10-15min walk, but lovely to see the beautiful potted flowers and gorgeous bulidings on our stroll. Metro(underground) and busses also easliy accessable. I found it really expensive for single trips on the Metro, so invest in a Oyster card if staying for more than one day.

Voordelen:: This was one of the worst places I have stayed, the staff were miserable and rude. The shower was cold, the hallways had leaking water coolers, noisy strobing lights and damp patches on the walls. As a disabled female travelling alone on the morning of my departure I phoned reception 4 times to ask for some assistance with my bags but there was no answer. When I struggled down myself I then asked at reception for a taxi to be booked being told to go to concierge, at the concierge desk I was told to ask the man on the door and when I asked him another staff member butted in saying I should wait on the pavement and flag one myself. The reason I asked was because I was carrying so many bags which he could see I had and this was far from the service I expected. I was left so embarrassed struggling out of the hotel, I travel a lot and will never book a Hilton again.

Nadelen:: Check-in was unnecessarily slow. Reception desk staff seemed to be allowing random hotel guests (?) to jump the queue ahead of the long line of people waiting to check in. Some of these people had a lot of questions to ask the staff. Not cool.

Voordelen:: This hotel is connected to Paddington station, so a very easy option if you need to catch a flight (the Heathrow Express leaves from Paddington). It's also in a great neighborhood with lots of transport links and restaurants, and of course lives up to the usual Hilton standard of being a nice hotel. The rooms are also a pretty nice size for London.

Voordelen:: Location is perfect for access to and from Paddington train station, especially with luggage. Paddington village also offers a wide variety of products and services.
Nadelen:: This used to be one of London's premier hotels. Sadly, it has fallen on hard times through lack of maintenance, general degradation of standards and lack of investment. Examples: carpets throughout the hotel are stained, frayed and worn, room cleanliness is way below standard (room corners are dirty), elevators are slow, the air conditioning system in the room simply did not work, the telephone only seems to work with operator assistance for which you are charged, staff appear improperly trained for their functions, just touch anything in the minibar and its charged and prices are outrageous.

Nadelen:: Temperature of the room was horrible - we had the aircon on the whole time but we were always so hot. We tried to open the window to allow for fresh air but we could only open it slightly so that didn’t help. There was no room fridge. The tv is very small...which I guess we didn’t mind so much as we were out most of the time. Make sure you pay for the room upfront. They will hold the cost of the room until the end of the stay and say it will only take 3-5 days to transfer back...but we found out it can take up to 10days which doesn’t help when you’re travelling on a budget!! The room wasn’t that clean we kept finding hairs all over the place...which is just gross.

Voordelen:: Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en altijd bereid om te helpen, vooral Lucian. Lucian heeft ons vanaf het begin van ons verblijf heel goed geholpen met de koffers en zeer behulpzame informatie. Hij stond altijd klaar om ons te helpen en hij was zeer vriendelijk. Ik zou zeker anderen aanraden om bij het Park Grand London Hyde Park hotel te blijven. Het is in een rustige buurt. Paddington is heel leuk en Hyde park, een van de prachtigste parken in London, is heel dichtbij. Plus je kan makkelijk de underground nemen om naar het centrum te gaan.

Voordelen:: Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en altijd bereid om te helpen, vooral Lucian. Lucian heeft ons vanaf het begin van ons verblijf heel goed geholpen met de koffers en zeer behulpzame informatie. Hij stond altijd klaar om ons te helpen en hij was zeer vriendelijk. Ik zou zeker anderen aanraden om bij het Park Grand London Hyde Park hotel te blijven. Het is in een rustige buurt. Paddington is heel leuk en Hyde park, een van de prachtigste parken in London, is heel dichtbij. Plus je kan makkelijk de underground nemen om naar het centrum te gaan.
Nadelen:: Wat meer ruimte in de kamer zou wel handig zijn. Misschien het smalle kastje die wij hadden weghalen om ruimte te maken om koffers te plaatsen. We moesten onze zitruimte veranderen in de kamer om ruimte te maken voor onze vier koffers. Het was namelijk een kamer voor vier personen maar er was niet genoeg ruimte voor onze koffers.

Nadelen:: In the room there were no shelves in the wardrobe and no space to open the suitcases. No night tables and the access to one side of the bed was so narrow that the only way to get in that side was from the other side or the bottom of the bed.

Bed obstructed by a pillar & beem, preventing easy access & banged head once or twice.TV colour poor & not adjustable. Very disappointed.

Then the receptionist told us he didn’t know When the room would be ready, not long hopefully, so we used a friends room to get ready and to leave our luggage as we had dinner plans. When we arrived back at the hotel after 9pm, we were told our room was ready. We went to our room which was clearly under renovation, dirty, unmade bed empty drink cartons and rubbish all over the bathroom floor. We went back to reception and the receptionist was unaware of the filthy room or that it was getting renovated. Room2 on another floor, no air conditioning, broken and when the maintenance guy came he said the hotel was aware but told him to show his face to keep the customer happy. What a diabolical way to treat paying customers. I WON’T BE RECOMMENDING YOUR HOTEL, YOUR ONLY INTERESTED IN MY MONEY NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE- SHAME ON YOU.

Voordelen:: The location were it was sadly was the only plus point to this place.
Nadelen:: The rooms were like death apartment in china crammed tiny with 4 people shoved in a closet the beds were kid size and im only 5'8, an to talk about the heat and mug build up in the rooms if you stay never turn off the fan. we left days early just to get away from the place, the bathrooms stink of mold in the floor and around the sinks , the shower room is almost as big as the room just with lament flooring as the bathroom floor not properly vented and stinks of mold, we were informed to put our bags in out beds with the cuts shut so they can come in and vacuum the floor and our stuff would be say (oyes to use the storage drawer under the bed its cost 4 extra to use it) when we came back the room stunk of my friends perfume she had just bought the other day and out bags look like they had be moved or tossed around my hard carrier on was push on top of my bookback which i lef the book bag on top bc of my laptop that was inside. after the 2nd night of staying there me and my friend agreed this place in my 11 years of seeing the world was the worst place i have ever stayed there is like 1 bathroom on each floor to be shared with 20 people it seems, i would have to hold it in to use the bathroom at 4 knowing everyone was asleep because it not you will have 2-5 people try to open the door while your in the middle of your business, there is no outside sign or even a slide panel to state that someone is in there on topping it off its a no refund if you leave early or don't stay which i was willing to leave early after the first few nights of staying there i wouldent want the money back anyway it would probley end up smelling like the bathrooms like mold, it didnt help ether i'm sure at most of the bathrooms are straight piped because you can smell straight sewer when it rains, for a place in Hyde Park as well keeped and clean area this place as well below that stander-ed.

Voordelen:: Good location, friendly staff, affordable prices. There were so many shower rooms and could use one, when the shower in my room was busy. I was allowed to leave my bags before the check in (fre) after the check out for 2.5 pounds
Nadelen:: Luggage storage in the room is not included into the room price, I had to pay separately. However, the sum was not expensive. There was no hair drier.

Nadelen:: Alles, de kamer stonk, ik paste net in een bed (ik ben 173 cm), ontbijt was me geen 2 pond waard, douches en wc’s waren heel erg klein, alles was überhaupt klein en dicht op elkaar geplakt, ik sliep in een kamer met 16 bedden die ze in 12m2 hebben gepropt. De lamp ging voortdurend aan en uit, ook snachts. Ik moest mijn eigen bed opmaken en afhalen en ze hadden daardoor dus ook geen idee welk bed k had geslapen om schoon te maken. Ik raad iedereen af hier te komen tenzij je echt geen geld hebt voor meer, maar het was mij het geld niet waard. Gelukkig sliep ik er maar 1 nacht, ben blij dat ik weer weg kon.

Nadelen:: We booked a 4 bed mixed dorm, which meant we were on the fourth floor, with no lift which means you will need to carry your bags and travel up and down to the very top of the building in order to get to your room. With this room we had a private bathroom, however this meant practically showering on the toilet, the shower curtain did NOTHING and meant the whole bathroom got flooded whenever anyone had a shower, including a wet toilet. During our stay a bunch of teenagers who sit on the next door neighbours steps and who smoke weed and play their music all night long whilst approaching people staying at the hostel asking if they want to buy drugs. We had spoken to someone who had stayed at the hostel months before and he said that they were also there on his previous stay, so something that always happens. The hostel staff don’t seem to do anything about them and they are allowed to come in and out of the common foyer as they please. There are lockers under the beds however they will charge you per day to be able to use it.

Nadelen:: I have been to many countries especially in Asia and I have always stay on dormitories but I was shocked when I stayed here. Usually, when I arrived at a hostel, the bed is already ready, there is a pillow and mattress, everything..but this hostel is not ready at all. They will just give you the mattress and pillow cover, you will do it yourself. Its not a big deal for me but I am just comparing it to other hostels where I stayed. and you will have to look for an empty bed yourself. Almost zero on Customer Service. I knew from the pictures that its triple decker bed but I was shocked because of the space, Its like they tell you to just lie down most of the time. and what shocked me the most is that they have lots of staff cleaning the hostel but they don't include the rooms. They don't vacuum or have air spray to get rid of the smell from the shoes of other guests. Most of the reception also don't know customer service. They just sat there. In other hostels, After someone checks in, they will guide the guest to the room and inform where his or her bed is. The reception's job is just to sit, check their computer, give keys, give mattress. I hope they learn from Korean Guesthouses on how they do Guesthouse business. Being a low budget dormitory is not an excuse to not being able to give good customer service.

Hotel was under construction but you only new that when you turn up. Very dirty, and we paid for breakfast, it was in a basement with no windows and two baskets, one with bread and croissant, butter. Cheap cornflakes and coffee erne that was nasty.

Foto’s zijn gn exacte weergave, kamers in erbarmelijke staat, heel vies, kinderen waren bang om er te slapen ( zo eng was de kamer), schimmels in de badkamer, gn warm water, lichten stuk, dekens op bed was gewoon los laken, draden losgetrokken langs de muur (hebben foto’s), personeel was er nt, 1 pakistaan die aan de receptie zat. Elke hotelgast had klachten... wanneer dit gemeld werd, was het antwoord: boek een ander hotel Bij aankomst meteen cash betalen omdat het bakje zogezegd stuk was, achteraf hadden we door waarom we meteen moesten betalen. Men kon zelf niet teruggeven op cash geld, wisselgeld hebben we nt meer teruggekregen... zat nooit iemand aan receptie Bij uitcheck zat er niemand aan de receptie, wsl om de klachten te vermijden Ontbijt bestaat enkel uit brood en confituur, gn beleg, gn choco... koffie en melk Plaats van ontbijt was in kelder waar stoelen op mekaar gestapeld waren Lawaai s nachts op de gang, ganse nacht door... muren heel dun. Bijna gn andere hotelgasten te zien... we denken dat iedereen meteen vertrok De gasten die bleven, keken mekaar aan van: wat is dit hier?!” Indien met kinderen... neem dit hotel nt... kinderen herinneren zich enkel griezelig en eng hotel Er zijn genoeg andere hotels in de buurt( die niet anders dan beter kunnen zijn dan dit) Voor booking.com: iemand van jullie moet echt eens gaan kijken want dit is hotelonwaardig
