De ontvangst.. we waren zelfs 2 uur vroeger als gepland maar werden zeer vriendelijk geholpen. Het huis is geweldig... de kamer prima .. mooie tuin en hondvriendelijk. Auto straat ook veilig op binnenplaats. Guimarães bezocht met taxi naar centrum voor 5 euro. Perfect restaurant gevonden ... ontbijt was ok... wel alles met veel suiker erin. Maar dat is portugees.........Supervriendelijke bediening , lekkere koffie! We komen terug!
Volgende keer graag bij ontbijt eieren ( gebakjen , scrambled met spek of gekookt maakt niet uit. en ook graag yogurt zonder suiker. Fles water op de jamer mischien?

Logeren in een prachtig historisch gebouw met heerlijke tuin op 10 min lopen van het historische centrum. Het is echt een bijzondere plek om te overnachten. In de tuin lopen dieren rond en het kan gebeuren dat een pauw ineens door het raam bij je naar binnen kijkt. Geweldig! Prima ontbijt, je hebt er een zeer ruime kamer en een goed bed.

Location for town centre is excellent. Breakfast was great. Parking plentiful. Nice array of feathered friends outside. Swans were really nice to see.
Two big dogs outside the back of the property who were quite loud when they saw us and our dog. They were kept well in control though.

A rather unique property very well located in the center of the city. The house is very old and traditional, so may not be everyone’s cup of tea if you like more stylish and modern surroundings. However, we enjoyed our brief stay with our dog, as the staff was really friendly with us. We arrived on a really rainy night but the old, traditionally-styled room quickly became cozy after we turned on some heating. There is a lovely garden on the property with trees, flowers and swans. Two dogs guard the property and can do some barking at night, but only if they are disturbed. Breakfast was standard but tasty and the owners were super friendly. The location especially is perfect for exploring the center of Guimaraes.
A little bit damp and cold but this is normal for these type of houses in winter, and it was a really rainy day.
