Would bring me back to Barcelona

The beauty and innovation of this redesigned enormous building in the heart of the Main Street in Barcelona is unbelievable. Walking in to the lobby from Las Ramblas was breathtaking in chic comfortable design and comfort; quite the turnaround from walking through the gothic quarter. The rooms with their automated switches, built in audio and mood lighting, and details such as a custom pillow bar to select from added to the already striking rooms and beautiful bathrooms. Everything in the rooms made a nights stay in the town more difficult to actually go to town. Past the rooms and lobby, the dining and bar was great, not even considering the rooftop restaurant with a pool and lounge area also for guests. Did I Mention the Romanesque bath spa downstairs? Not a bad feature for a beautiful place to be able to check out, do more sightseeing, and then come back to relax in before grabbing bags. The staff was beyond friendly. Thank you to the doormen for keeping our luggage and even holding the rental bikes while that stores staff was on siesta. I will be back.

I was too blown away to even think anything pessimistic.

Great location. Spa and gym was very nice. Breakfast was great and was included in my rate.

The temperature control was hidden. Wish breakfast at the terrace was open earlier.
