Staff welcoming and efficient. Concierge excellent at booking taxis and suggesting City tours for my wife. The Sky Lounge was first class with good service, delicious food and Heineken beers

The room was very small for a Kingsize and the price paid, I had requested in advance a room near the lift as I have two metal hips and recent lumbar surgery adversely affecting my walking. This was ignored and we had room 1050 - furthest of all from the lift !! The walk-in shower represented a serious SAFETY hazard as the floor was slippery and there were no safety handles to aid stability whilst in the shower. The wardrobe was small and badly positioned. We asked Housekeeping for 13-amp/3 pin adaptors on arrival but these failed to be delivered and there were no reasons provided. Concierge came to our rescue but only with a single adaptor. This hotel was not to the best HILTON standards

Leaving the hotel.

Being in the hotel. Here what i experienced: When i was checking in they asked for a deposite, i said you can charge it all. I don’t know how but their device blocked my credit card, because of bunch of pin tries, even i didn’t type any pin. Then i left 100 eurs as deposite as they asked first. At my last day in the hotel, i woke up and found a letter thrown under the door. Saying that “please visit reception regarding to your reservation”. I have gone down to lobby for both visiting reception and having breakfast. It was last 30 minutes for breakfast service. In the reception thay asked for the payment. I said, after my breakfast i can take my wallet from my room and pay it. They said ok. While my breakfast an employee was checking me that i am still there or escaped. Anyway, i go upstairs to take my wallet. My keys didn’t worked. I have gone to reception and said that “my keys doesn’t work”. They told me that they can not activate it until i make the payment. I told them i need to take my wallet from my room for the payment. They said that they can not activate the key. It was like a joke. I asked them if this is a joke or something? They said “no, it is not a joke and we can not activate the key”. Then i got angry... A manager came and said me that we can go to room together. It was so shamefull, i was crazy angry with that approach. We have gone to room together like i am a criminal. I took my wallet and paid the price. I am travelling a lot world wide and this was the first time that i exposed that kind of approach. It was full of shame... I was prefering Hilton hotels until now, but will not do it anymore. Congrats guys this is your achievement...
